HLAC would like to thank everyone who turned up and voted and had a say on certain things as well as the many that has renewed their membership going into 2025.

Firstly the club would like to thank Willy W our on-going Chairman for many many years for moving the club forward. The club would like to welcome our new Chairman - Paul S. 🙂

Memberships will be locked at 150 and once they are full you then can put yourself on the waiting list for 2026.
Licence Costs
Licences and Day Tickets will remain the same cost, no changes recorded. Day tickets will only be sold online and no paper day tickets will be allowed to be purchased from the shop. They have stopped selling them.
HLAC Matches
Nobody put their name forward for Match Secretary 2025 - There will be no matches in 2025 scheduled on Stephensons Lake (No official matches can go ahead first without speaking up at the meeting) but there is a possibility that there could still be away matches, we could potentially open them up to anyone welcome. (depends on availability of anglers). Everyone can be their own match sec. 😎
Honorary Members - NO OBJECTIONS
We would also like to thank Ian Tait who is now an honorary life time member for the work that he has done for along time and being a long term member!
Rules Changes (Stephensons Lake) (by vote) - ACCEPTED
Braid, Core leader or fixed rigs are now completely banned on Stephensons. Bivvies / Tents are now completely banned and you may be asked to dismantle them if used.
Rule Changes - General (by vote) - ACCEPTED
Nothing is to be discussed meetings after 12 months, any outstanding issues must be fetched up and resolved that angling year.
Paper Day Tickets
HLAC will be going FULLY digital online and there will no longer be paper day tickets available. HLAC are going to raise the limits from 4 to unlimited day tickets online but this will be monitored going forward and during busy periods no day tickets will be available to buy online and you must not turn up to the lake without pre-ordering. DO NOT fish then order on the bankside. You may be turned away.
Lyons Lake

A meeting with HLAC, E.A and Springboard / Council is still on-going. Further info will be announced if there are any changes.
